Graphics board

There are two ports on the video card you can connect a monitor to. The upper one is a VGA D-shell socket (15 pin) for standard VGA monitors (CRT). The other port is a digital socket (24 pin) for the connection with a Digital Flat Panel.

Connect the plug of your monitor cable with the appropriate socket on the video card. Fasten the screws to ensure a safe connection. Additional information to the port characteristics can be found in your monitor manual.

If you use a CRT monitor attach the cable to the DB-15 VGA output connector (see diagram below) located on the Synergy Force card. If you need additional installation information, please refer to the user's guide provided with your monitor (see also the Specifications).

The ELSA Synergy Force issues analog signals in accordance with the requirements of Guideline RS-170. The synchronization information is sent separately.

The DVI-D Connector

If you use a Digital Flat Panel (DFP) monitor attach the cable to the DVI-D output connector (see diagram below) located on the Synergy Force card. If you need additional installation information, please refer to the user's guide provided with your monitor (see also the Specifications).
